More Than a Bali Hike

A chance to travel consciously.

In a world moving at breakneck speed, we’ve lost something essential: our connection to nature, to community, to spirit.

The Astungkara Trails are Bali’s first regenerative walking trails, designed for travelers who seek more than sightseeing.

Walk across rice paddies, remote villages, forests and coastlines. Slow down, meet farming communities, and participate in regeneration in action: ecosystems restoring, livelihoods strengthening, traditions reaffirming.
This is your chance to see Bali – and maybe life – in a whole new light.

Come walk with us.

There’s an Astungkara journey for every conscious traveler seeking the real Bali. Off the beaten track, hosted by local communities, designed for deep connection and meaningful impact.

The Astungkara Trail

Only around 50 humans experience our original coast-to-coast Trail each year. Our signature journey is far more than a hike. It is an invitation into Bali, a pilgrimage, and an exploration of self, community, nature and regeneration.

A Typical Day

We usually start the day at 7am with stretching, a light fresh breakfast, walk to our next destination and arrive by noon.

Afternoon activities are diverse and allow time to connect with the locals at each location.

We end the day with dinner, circle time and time for reflecting on the wonders we experienced during the day.
