The Astungkara Trail: a Coast to Coast Pilgrimage
A 10-day journey to reconnect with nature, community, and self.
Pilgrims call it the El Camino of Bali – an ancestral coast-to-coast journey across the Island of Gods, designed to open your heart, nourish your soul, expand your mind, and challenge your beliefs, just a little further than you expected.
Starting on Bali’s vibrant southern coast, the trail gradually takes you off the beaten path into untouched landscapes and ancestral wisdom. You’ll walk through rice terraces, jungles, valleys, and sacred temples, meet farmers and hosts who keep Bali alive, and purify in sacred waters along the way.
This is not just a hike. It’s a pilgrimage – an exploration of self, community, and nature.
